What do we offer?
The Tackle6 Program aims to use rugby league as a vehicle to build skills, which will help students become more resilient and assist with the transition between primary and high school.
The program covers a range of topics and through various activities, children learn about communication techniques, team building, understanding bullying, and gain valuable skills to help cope with life’s challenges.
The program incorporates the use of rugby league skills to address barriers to students learning and helps them to thrive in a school setting. The 3 key areas of the program are Teamwork, Leadership, and Communication (TLC) which are the fundamental areas of the Tackle6 program and help build resilience in children. Over the course of the program, students will learn the following 6 modules.
- Anti-Bullying
- Teamwork
- Leadership
- Communication
